ENG vs WI: Windies team announced for England tour, 3 Players refused to travel due to fear of Corona

On Wednesday, West Indies selection committee announced 14-member squad and 11 reserve players for their test series against England in England.

The 3-match Test series between England and West Indies will mark the comeback of international cricket during the lockdown. The most awaited series is scheduled to begin from 8 July.

Meanwhile, the Windies team members will go under COVID-19 test this week and will travel to England on 8 June.

Players will stay in the bio-safe environment:
The West Indies squad will resident in a "bio-safe" environment where they will train and practice there during the tour. The eleven reserve players will help to train the 14-member squad and provide back-up in case of any injury.

3 Windies players refused to travel due to fear of Corona:
These three players do not want to travel with the team because they are concerned about their health and Cricket West Indies has respected their decision.

Shimron Hetmyer, Darren Bravo and Keemo Paul have refused to accompany the team for this tour.
