India captain Virat Kohli has emerged as the only cricketer in the list of world's highest-grossing athletes through an Instagram post during the lockdown.
Earlier, Indian team captain Virat Kohli made it to the list of 100 players recently released by Forbes, who has earned the most money in the last year. In this list, captain Virat Kohli is the only Indian who has got a place.
Virat Kohli has ranked sixth in the list of 'World's highest-grossing athletes through an Instagram post during the lockdown'. The data were collected during the period from March 12 to May 14 to make this list. People's earnings were severely adversely affected in the lockdown. However, the Indian captain earned some huge bucks by using this social media platform.
According to the list, Kohli earned a total of £379,294 (Rs 3,60,76,933.83) through his sponsor post, which is 126,431 pounds per post. Surprisingly, Kohli has posted only three such posts during this period.

Portuguese star football player Cristiano Ronaldo tops the list with estimated earnings of £1.8 million (Rs 17,96,10,995.49), while Argentina and FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi and PSG's Neymar are second and third with earnings of 1.2 million and 1.1 million.
Basketball great Shakeel O'Neill earned (583,628 pounds) and former England captain David Beckham mitted (405,359 pounds) are in top 5.
Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic (184,413 pounds), former NBA star Dwayne Wade (143,146), Brazilian footballer Dani Alves (133,694) and boxer Anthony Joshua (121,500) are the top-10 highest-grossing athletes worldwide during the lockdown period.
