The 12th season of the Indian Premier League is going to start from 23rd March, with the match between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chepauk, Chennai.
While CSK had made only one major change in their team, they have included Mohit Sharma in place of Mark Wood. So today we will make the strongest Probable XI of Chennai for the opening encounter against Bangalore.
Openers and Middle order:
Watson who played a key role in winning the title for his team by scoring a century in the finals of IPL 2018 can accompany Rayadu again, who scored the most runs in IPL 2018 for CSK. Hope the opening pair of Watson of Rayadu will spark again for CSK.
On the other hand, Raina who had a magnificent season last year, he scored 445 runs in 15 matches and Dhoni had his best IPL season will take the responsibility of the middle order along with Kedar Jadhav.
All-rounders and Spinners:
Dwayne Bravo has been the backbone of CSK in the department of allrounder for the past few years and has done a fantastic job with both bat and ball. Apart from him, Jadeja has always done his best.
Mitchell Santner was not able to play the last season due to injury, but this time he is completely fit. Apart from his bowling, he can prove to be a useful lower order batsman for CSK.
The Fast bowling attack:
Deepak Chahar was very effective with the new ball in the last season, he took 10 wickets. While Mohit Sharma is returning to his old team this time.
And the South African pacer Lungi Ngadi who took 11 wickets last season with incredible economy of 6 and can share the new ball with Chahar. Overall, the CSK as a very strong and balanced team.
