PAK vs SL, 2nd Test: Pakistan dismissed for 191 runs on day 1, Sri Lanka in command

By the end of the first day's play of the second Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Karachi, Sri Lanka has scored 64 runs after losing three wickets in the first innings and are still 127 runs behind Pakistan.

The hosts were reduced to 191 runs in the first innings. Sri Lanka's Embuldeniya is at the crease with 3 and Angelo Mathews is batting at 8.

Earlier, After winning the toss, Pakistan decided to bat first. This decision proved to be completely wrong as opener Shaan Masood was dismissed 5 runs and Captain Azhar Ali was out without opening his account and lost two wickets for just 10 runs.
From here, Babar Azam and Abid Ali took the innings and formed a half-century partnership for the third wicket. Abid Ali was out for 38 runs. Babar Azam was seen in a good rhythm but lost his control after scoring his fifty, he was out after scoring 60 runs.

Ashad Shafiq (63) also batted brilliantly but as he was out, the entire team was reduced to 191 runs. Lahiru Kumara and Lasith Embuldeniya took 4 wickets each for Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka's first innings also did not start well. Opening Batsmen Oshada Fernando was out for 4 runs. Dimuth Karunaratne got off to a great start but was dismissed for 25 runs.

Later, Angelo Mathews (8) and nightwatchman Embuldeniya (3) did not let any wickets fall and Sri Lanka scored 64/3 in 19 overs. Mohammad Abbas took 2 wickets and Shaheen Afridi took 1 wicket for Pakistan.
