IPL Auction 2020: RCB may still include Shimron Hetmyer in the squad, Know how

The decision to release Shimron Hetmyer, who scored just 90 runs in 5 matches in the 11th season of the Indian Premier League, can backfire the Royal Challengers Bangalore camp.

Hetmyer has kept his base price of 50 lakhs, in the IPL 2020 Auction to be held in Kolkata. Before scoring the century in Chennai, Hetmyer was the highest run-scorer in the T20 International series against India. He scored 120 runs in three matches at a strike rate of 151.89.

All 8 franchises will bid on this in-form player and he will be the favorite of all. Last year, he was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 4.2 crores but this year his bid is expected to increase even more.
