IPL 2020 Auction: Pat Cummins becomes the most expensive foreign player of all time

The auction of the 13th season of the Indian Premier League is being held in Kolkata. So far the highest bid as come to Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins, he had been bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for whooping 15 crores 50 lakhs.

With this, he has become the most expensive foreign player in IPL history. Earlier, Ben Stokes was bought by Rising Pune Supergiants in 2017 for 14 crores 50 lakhs.

Talking about the most expensive player of the IPL, Yuvraj Singh was bought by Delhi Capitals in the 2015 season for 16 crores and Pat Cummins is the second most expensive player in the history of IPL.

Apart from Pat Cummins, Glenn Maxwell also was very expensive. He was bought by Kings XI Punjab for 10.75 crores. Apart from this, Chris Morris was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 10 crores, RCB also included Aaron Finch in their team for 4.4 crores.

If you talk about the most expensive foreign players of IPL, in the 2018 season, Rajasthan Royals bought Ben Stokes for 12 crores 50 lakhs, while in the 2017 season,  Mills was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 12 crores.
