IPL Auctions 2020: There is still about 4 months left for the 13th season of the Indian Premier League. But the fans are already thrilled, the reason for this is the auction of the players which will be held in Kolkata on 19 December and the fate of many cricketers will go under the hammer.
332 Players Will Go Under Hammer:
971 players had enrolled to be part of the IPL Auctions 2020, but now only 332 of these players will go under the hammer. Out of these only 73 players will be included in the team, in which 28 foreign players can be purchased.Overall the 8 franchises have a total of Rs 260.65 crore up for IPL Auctions 2020. While Robin Uthappa has the highest base price from India of 1.5 crores.
Money Left With 8 Teams for IPL Auctions 2020:
- Mumbai Indians has 13.05 crores and they can buy 7 players which will include 5 Indians and 2 foreigners.
- Chennai Super Kings have 14.60 crores left. They can buy 5 players, which will include 3 Indian and 2 foreign players.
- Delhi Capitals has Rs 27.85 crore left. They can buy a total of 11 players with 6 Indian players and 5 foreign players.
- Royal Challengers Bangalore have Rs 27.90 crore left. They can buy 12 players and has to buy 6 Indian and 6 foreign players.
- Rajasthan Royals has Rs 28.90 crore left. They can buy 11 players. Which includes 7 Indian and 4 foreign players.
- Kolkata Knight Riders have Rs 35.65 crore. They can buy a total of 11 players with 7 Indian and 4 foreign players.
- 42.70 crores left with Kings XI Punjab. The team that can buy 9 players in which 5 Indians and 4 foreign players can be purchased.
- Sunrisers Hyderabad has 17 crore rupees, from which it can buy 2 foreign and 5 Indian players.
