IND vs WI - 1st ODI: The Indian cricket team has reached the MA Chidambaram Stadium for the first match of the ODI series after defeating the West Indies by 2-1 in the T20 series. Now, the host will face the Caribbean team for the first match of the three-match ODI series on Sunday from 1:30 PM.
After performing brilliantly in the T20 series, the Indian team would like to continue this form in the ODI series and would like to finish the year on high.

However, before the start of the series, the Indian team has received 2 big shocks in the form of Shikhar Dhawan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. While Bhuvneshwar Kumar pulled his muscle strain in the last match of the T20 series and Shikhar Dhawan was injured before the T20 series.
Shikhar Dhawan suffered a knee injury during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Maharashtra in Surat, after which he underwent surgery and is now recovering.
Mayank Agarwal has been replaced by Shikhar Dhawan while Mumbai fast bowler Shardul Thakur has been replaced in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
