Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has been fined due to slow over-rate in the match against Kings XI Punjab. Earlier, Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane also faced the same penalty for slow over rate.
Now, Virat Kohli becomes the third captain, who has been fined due to the slow over rate.
While, Royal Challengers Bangalore registered their first win of the season with this match on Saturday and according to the rules of IPL regarding the over rate, Virat Kohli has been fined with a huge sum of12 lakh.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore, who bowled first after winning the toss, completed the first innings at 21:45 and it took more than one and a half hours to complete 20 overs.
Let us tell you that Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma was fined in the match against Kings XI Punjab, Rajasthan Royals captain Ajinkya Rahane was fined 12 lakh rupees during the match against Chennai Super Kings.
The next match of RCB will be against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on April 15, Monday.
