India's spearhead fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will be making his comeback after the injury in the first match T20 series against Sri Lanka in Guwahati on Sunday.

The 27-year-old was ruled out of the home series against South Africa, Bangladesh and West Indies due to stress fracture. The goods news is that he has recovered and completely fit to play and will be making a comeback in the T20 series against Sri Lanka.

Bumrah can create a big record on Sunday. He has taken 51 wickets in T20Is so far and if he manages to take two more wickets, he will overtake Ashwin and Chahal to become the bowler with the most number of wickets in T20 Internationals for India.

Ashwin and Chahal currently hold the top position in the case of most wickets for India in T20Is. Both have 52 wickets to their name. On the other hand, Chahal needs just wicket to break Ashwin's record.

India and Sri Lanka will play a total of three T20 Internationals in this series. However, the two teams will face each other after a gap of 21 months and both the teams will be looking to dominate and take an early lead in the series.
