BCCI has been announced the 15-member squad for the 5-match T20 matches series against New Zealand. India's tour of New Zealand will start from 24th January and the tour will consist of 8 matches which include 5 T20, 3 ODIs and 2 Test matches.
The Senior Selection Committee has made few changes in the squad, they have not included Sanju Samson, while Mohammed Shami and Rohit Sharma have been named in the squad after being rested for West Indies series.
As expected, former Indian captain MS Dhoni has not been included in the team. While KL Rahul will be a backup wicketkeeper for this series along with Rishabh Pant.

Sanju Samson dropped from the T20 squad:
Sanju Samson is associated with the Indian team for a long time now but hasn't got many opportunities in the playing XI. While he did play in the second T20 against Sri Lanka, he played only 2 balls and was dismissed for 6 runs.As expected, former Indian captain MS Dhoni has not been included in the team.
