IND vs NZ: India beat New Zealand in 2nd T20, Rahul scores brilliant half century, 3 records created

In the second T20 International match which was between India and New Zealand in Auckland on 26 January. The Indian team once again trampled the hosts convincingly by 7 wickets.

After the stunning win in the first T20, the 'Men in Blue' tasted the victory again and took a 2-0 lead in the 5-match series. KL Rahul and Iyer continued from where they left from the last game for India and took the team to a comfortable win.

New Zealand Innings:

New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat first. The Kiwi innings faltered after a good start, they lost 4 wickets for 81 runs after losing the first wicket at 48.

After this, the Indian bowler kept the pressure on and restricted the host for 132/5 in the given 20 overs. For Jadeja picked 2 wickets, Shivam Dube, Jasprit Bumrah and Shardul Thakur took 1 wicket each.

India's innings:

In response to a modest target of 133 runs, India had a poor start. Rohit Sharma failed to play big innings again in the second T20 and scored just 8 runs. Indian captain Virat Kohli too could not do anything special and was dismissed for 11 runs.

While inform Rahul batted brilliantly at one end and scored his second consecutive half-century and remained unbeaten after scoring 57 off 50 balls. He was best supported by Shreyas Iyer, he scored 44 runs off 33 balls.
