Indian fast bowler Deepak Chahar has been ruled out of the third ODI against West Indies due to injury. He is having trouble at the lower back.
The release issued by the BCCI stated that Deepak Chahar had a problem with the lower back after the second ODI in Visakhapatnam. He was examined by the BCCI medical team and found that he needed rest to be fully fit.
Let me tell you that earlier Bhuvneshwar Kumar was ruled out of the ODI series due to injury. In his place, Shardul Thakur was included in the team. Now, Deepak Chahar has also been ruled out of the 3rd ODI match.
In his place, young bowler Navdeep Saini has been included in the team for the third ODI in Cuttack. Saini last participated in the Home T20 series against South Africa.
The third and final match of the series between India and West Indies will be played in Cuttack on 22 December. Both teams have won one match each in the series and this match will be the series decider.
