SA vs ENG: England will tour South Africa in December 2019, See the full schedule

The England team will be on a tour of South Africa from December 2019 to February 2020. During this period, a four-match Test series will be played under the ICC Test Championship apart from this, a three-match ODI and T20 series will be played between the two nations.

The England team will begin the tour with a two-day practice match against Cricket South Africa Invitation XI in Benoni, which will be played from 17 December. After this, a three-day practice match will be played between England and South Africa A in Benoni from 20 December. After the practice matches, the Test series will be played between the two teams from December 26.


The first Boxing Day Test will be played at Centurion followed by the second Test from 3 January in Cape Town, the third Test at Port Elizabeth from 16 January and the fourth Test at Johannesburg from 24 January.

The ODI series will be played after the Test series, with the first match being played in Cape Town on 4 February, the second match in Durban on 7 February and the third match in Johannesburg on 9 February. Before the ODI series, the England team will also play an ODI practice match against Cricket South Africa Invitation XI in Paarl on 31 January and 1 February.

After the ODI series, the T20 series will be played between the two teams, with the first match being played in East London on 12 February, the second match at the concierge on 14 February and the third and final match on 16 February at Centurion.
