The West Indies has announced the squad for the three-match T20 and ODI series against India. Shai Hope and fast bowler Alzarri Joseph have not been part of the T20 squad. Both of them were in the team during the recent series against Afghanistan but did not get a place against India.
However, Shai Hope has been part of the squad for the three-match one-day series and will be the vice-captain of the team. Nicholas Pooran, who was left out of the three-match T20 series against Afghanistan due to ball-tampering, has also got a place in the T20 squad.
Fabian Allen, who was left out of the series against Afghanistan after a knee injury, has also been included in the team. Dinesh Ramdin has also become fit and has been included in the team. The first T20 between India and West Indies will be played on 6 December. The first match of the one-day series will be played on 15 December.
