AUS vs PAK: Pakistan all-out for 240 runs in first Innings, Babar Azam dismissed for 1 run



Pakistan's innings was reduced to 240 on the first day of the first Test match against Australia in Brisbane. Shortly before the end of the day's play, Pakistan's last wicket fell and the players went for the stumps. Australia will start their first innings on Day 2 of the match.

Batting first after winning the toss, Pakistan started well. Shaan Masood (27) and Azhar Ali (39) added 75 runs for the first wicket. Later Masood was dismissed by Pat Cummins. After this Azhar Ali became a victim to Hazelwood.
Haris Sohail could not do anything special and was dismissed for 1 run. After this Babar Azam also went on a personal score of one run and Pakistan's total score was 78 for 4 wickets.

At one end, Ashad Shafiq stood and he got a partner in the form of Mohammad Rizwan. Both of them tried to support the team by adding 49 runs for the sixth wicket. Rizwan was out for 37 runs. Shafiq then shared a half-century partnership for the seventh wicket with Yasir Shah (26) to take the team's score to 200.

Both these batsmen were dismissed for a total score of 227 runs. Shafiq made 76 runs and the entire team was reduced to 240 runs. Due to no time, the Australian team could not come to bat. Mitchell Starc took 4 wickets for Australia. Pat Cummins took 3 and Josh Hazlewood took 2 wickets.
