There is no fixed date for the day-night Test to be held in India yet, but in the future, day-night test matches may be held in India soon. The New BCCI president Sourav Ganguly said that captain Virat Kohli has also given his consent for the day-night Test matches.

During an honour ceremony in Kolkata, the former Indian captain said that Virat Kohli is a supporter of day-night Test matches and that he will soon take necessary steps to have a day-night Test match in India.

Everyone should move with the time and this also applies to cricket. I certainly do not know that in India when we play Day-night Tests, but in the future, of course, it will"
Ganguly said, "We are all thinking about the day-night test in India. I am a big supporter of this. Virat Kohli has also agreed to organize it in India. I read in many newspapers that Virat Day-Night does not agree on Test matches but it is not true.
Let us tell you that the first day-night test match was played between Australia and New Zealand. The match took place in Adelaide and the pink ball was used.
