Shivam Dube, who plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL, has been selected in the Indian team for the T20 series against Bangladesh. Shivam Dube says that he had every hope of being selected in the team.
Along with this, he described sharing the dressing room with veteran players in RCB's team as a great experience. He said that he got a lot to learn from Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers.
In a special conversation, Shivam Dube said that this season I got a chance to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore. I learned a lot while sharing the dressing room with the legendary players there. Those two months spent with RCB were very valuable to me. Not only do you share the dressing room with the players there, but you also put the ideas in front of each other.
Shivam Dube further said that I learned a lot from Virat Bhaiyya. Apart from this, AB de Villiers also helped me a lot. He always kept telling me to keep smiling, your time will definitely come. He helped me a lot during the net session and gave me many important tips. He told me how cricket is played without fear.
Let us tell you that Shivam Dube was bought by RCB team for the 11th season with a bid of 5 crores. After this, he also performed well in domestic matches and that is why he got a place in the Indian team for the T20 series against Bangladesh.
I would also like to give credit to Virat Bhaiyya. He is always ready to help the young players. Once during the net session, I asked him how can I be a better player, then he told me that you are an all-rounder. Balance both bowling and batting, you will be a match-winner.
