India's fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and Indian women's cricket star batter Smriti Mandhana has won the prestigious Wisden Almanack Cricketer of the Year award on Friday. Both these cricketers are among the five winners who have received this award.
Other winners in Asia are Fakhar Zaman of Pakistan, Dimuth Karunaratne of Sri Lanka and Rashid Khan of Afghanistan. The seventh edition of the annual cricket publication for 2019 and 2020. Mandhana is the third woman to be named as Cricketer of the Year after Mithali Raj and Deepti Sharma.
