IPL 2019: 3 Reason why RCB's performance has been worst in this season

The 12th edition of IPL has already into its 3rd week and during this period many teams have performed brilliantly. But, Royal Challengers Bangalore is the only team without a single win so far in the season.

RCB has played 6 matches so far and has lost all the matches. While In 2016, the RCB team reached the finals and since then RCB has played 35 matches in total, out of which they have won just 9 games.

1. Weak Bowling Attack:

By the way, RCB is always known for weak bowling attack and in this season also they successfully manage to maintain this. While there is no such fast bowler in the team who can execute yorker in the end overs or even surprise the batsmen with a good bouncer.

New Zealand pacer Tim Southee had a lot of expectations from the team, but he has just disappointing. Nathan Coulter-Nile is a great bowler but he is not available. While Mohammad Siraj has been worst and Umesh Yadav did not appear in any rhythm.

2. Sloppy fielding and drop catch:

Fielding of the Royal Challengers Bangalore is also quite bad in this season. So far, RCB has dropped 14 catches. Surprisingly, Virat Kohli also has been poor in the field and also struggling to place the right fielder in the right spot.

3. Inconsistent Batting Performance:

If you talk about batting, none of the batsmen other than Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Parthiv Patel has contributed significantly to the team. Shimron Hetmyer and Shivam Dube who was bought for big money have remained absolutely silent with the bat.

However, the RCB as 8 matches left and if they win all these matches then they will qualify for the playoffs. Although this work is not easy, but nothing impossible for the team which has Virat Kohli, Just need to unite and perform spectacularly.
