India's legendary leg spinner and former head coach of the Indian team has selected his best Indian team for the upcoming ICC world cup 2019. Surprisingly, Anil Kumble had included Khaleel Ahmed and Rishabh Pant in his team.
The 48-year-old former Indian skipper's team for the tournament in England will be led by Virat Kohli. While Hardik Pandya and Vijay Shankar will be the two seaming all-rounders options.
What's interesting is that Anil Kumble had not included the KL Rahul, the former captain has chosen Ambati Rayudu in his team to balance the middle order, whose performance has not been good in recent times. Apart from this, Kumble said, "I will keep Khaleel in the team because he brings the left-hand seam option and could be lethal in seaming conditions and I will bring Rishabh Pant back because he is young, he is talented, he can change the game on any day alone. So you want an X Factor and can also give you a backup option for Dhoni.
Anil Kumble as included Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami in the fast bowling department with Khaleel as the fourth fast bowling option. However, there is no place for left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja and wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal will take the responsibility of spin bowling department along with Kedar Jadhav.
