IPL 2019: Gambhir selects his top 4 teams for playoffs this season, Chennai Not included

The former captain of KKR and 2 times IPL champion Gautham Gambhir has been in headlines for quite long. Now, the left-handed batsmen have selected his top 4 teams which can qualify for the playoffs for this season.

The IPL's 12th season will start from 23rd March, Saturday in Chennai in the match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

In a show, The former opening batsmen Gautam Gambhir has selected Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders as the four teams going into the playoffs.

Surprisingly Gambhir has not included the defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the list. Apart from Chennai, Gambhir also neglected his own home team Delhi Capitals and also fans favourite Royal Challengers Bangalore.

However, opinions of other cricket experts such as Mathew Hayden and Mitchell Johnson, who were present in the same show, were different.

While Hayden picked CSK, KKR, Mumbai and Hyderabad as the top four teams and Johnson chose CSK, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai and Rajasthan Royals.
