India defeated Australia by 6 wickets in the opening ODI played in Hyderabad and going head by a 1-0 lead in the 5-match series. Australia first scored 236/7, in reply, the Indian team chased the target in 49th over and won the match by 6 wickets.
MS Dhoni 59* (72) and Kedar Jadhav 81* (87) and both played a fantastic and unobtrusive partnership of 141 runs for the 5th wicket and gave the Indian team a great win with 10 balls to spare.
Apart from this brilliant batting by Dhoni, many fans might have not noticed this big change. While Ever MSD fans are very much aware of that Dhoni plays with the Spartan bat. But, When he came to bat in the first ODI against Australia in Hyderabad, the fans were left amazed seeing the New Bat.
In fact, Dhoni was seen playing with a SS sticker bat instead of a Spartan bat. Now, the question arises in the minds of the fans, is whether the contract with Spartan ended and Dhoni signed a new deal SS.
But nothing is officially confirmed yet, By the way, some fans on social media showed their attachment towards the Spartan bat and mentioned that Spartan bat is still our first choice than SS bat.
Meanwhile, whatever the bat it might be, what's more, important is that who is playing with that bat. And, when it is Dhoni, then every bat is special for the fans.
