IND vs AUS: Dhawan creates history in Mohali, scores a brilliant hundred, left Sehwag behind Pending

In the 4th ODI between India and Australia which is being played in Mohali. India's dangerous opening batsmen, Shikhar Dhawan was seen coming back to his old rhythm and was middling the ball very well.

Dhawan played a magnificent inning of 143 runs off 115 balls, including 18 fours and three sixes and scored his run with a strike rate of 124.34. With their spectacular knock, Indian team managed to set up a big score of 358 for 9 in 50 overs.

Dhawan's highest score in One Day Internationals:

Dhawan's century was a key factor in the match and this is the highest score in his ODI career so far. It means that the innings of 143 runs in Mohali by Dhawan proved to be the best performance of his ODI career.

Earlier, Dhawan's highest score was 137 runs which he scored against South Africa in 2015 World Cup in MCG. Apart from this, it is also Dhawan's 16th ODI century of his career.

Shikhar Dhawan leaves Virender Sehwag behind:

With 16th ODI centuries, Dhawan has now reached 4th place in the list of most centuries by an Indian batsman. In this case, he broke the record of Sehwag who had scored 15 ODI centuries.

Dhawan is now only behind Sachin's 49 centuries, Virat's 41 centuries and Ganguly-Rohit's 22 centuries.
