The IPL governing council has announced the schedule for the first two weeks for the upcoming season. In the first two weeks, a total of 17 matches will be played between the 8 franchise across eight different venues.

The defending champions, Chennai Super Kings will play a total of 4 matches in the first two weeks of the tournament and will start the campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore on 23rd March.
