In the fifth and final ODI of the series between India and New Zealand which is being played at Westpac Stadium, Wellington. The Indian batting order once again completely demolished and scored 252 runs in 49.5 overs.
Earlier, India won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Team India took the first blow as captain Rohit was out for two runs and in a blink, India lost 4 important wickets for 18 runs. Rayudu and Vijay Shankar rescued India by adding 98 for the fifth wicket.
Vijay was out on 45, after this, Rayudu, along with Jadhav added 74 runs. Unfortunately, Rayudu was out on 90 and missed his century by 10 runs, while Jadhav scored 34 runs and Hardik Pandya scored a 45 off 22 balls.
During this innings, Hardik smashed 3 consecutive sixes in an over of the Todd Astle and scored two fours and five sixes. With this stormy knock, he has made a special record of his name.
In fact, Hardik Pandya has become the fourth batsman against New Zealand with the highest strike rate in New Zealand and joined this special club of Afridi.
