ICC T20 Rankings: KL Rahul moves up by 4 places, goes ahead of Kohli and Rohit


The ICC has released the latest rankings after the conclusion of the 5-match T20 series between India and New Zealand. KL Rahul, who was seen in tremendous form with the bat has gained significant jump in the latest ICC T20 rankings.

Rahul scored 224 runs in the 5 matches with 2 half-centuries. With this performance, Rahul has moved up to second place by overtaking Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Rahul moved straight from the sixth position to the second position.

Now, Babar Azam of Pakistan is in the first place with 879 points while Rahul has 823 points. At the same time, Rohit Sharma is in 10th place and captain Virat Kohli is in 9th position. Before this series, Rohit was in the 13th position.

In the bowling rankings, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has made a long jump. Bumrah has climbed 26 places to 11th position. Earlier, Bumrah was ranked 37th. But, no Indian bowler is included in the top-10.

Afghanistan's star bowler Rashid Khan is still in first place with 749 points while his teammate Mujeeb ur Rehman is in second place with 743 points. Apart from this, Mohammed Nabi is in first place in the all-rounders ranking.
