Pakistan's 15-member squad has been announced for the Under-19 World Cup which is to be held in South Africa in January-February next year. Nasim Shah, who recently made his international debut in a Test match against Australia, has also been included in the team.
The team will be captained by wicket-keeper batsman Rohail Nazir and vice-captain Hyder Ali. Nazir has played 9 first-class matches and was the captain of the Pakistani team in the recently concluded Under-19 Asia Cup. He also scored his first century against India in Youth One-Day.
Nasim, who recently made his Test debut against Australia, has also participated in eight first-class matches so far. His performance in the Gabba Test against Australia was not good. He could get only one wicket.
