IND vs WI: Rohit Sharma created history in 3rd T20, became the 1st Indian to achieve this


In the 3rd T20 match between India and West Indies in Mumbai, the local boy Rohit Sharma completed his half-century in just 23 balls and played an explosive knock of 71 in just 34 balls in the match. In his innings, he scored 5 massive sixes and 6 fours and added massive 135 run opening partnership along with Rahul.

With this knock, Rohit Sharma created a big record during the match. He has completed 400 sixes in international cricket and has become the first Indian player to do so in international cricket.

Rohit Sharma is now only behind West Indies dangerous batsmen Chris Gayle and Pakistan's Shahid Afridi in terms of most sixes in international cricket.

Chris Gayle has a total of 530 international sizes to his name while Shahid Afridi has 476 sixes. Apart from them, Brendon McCullum is in fourth place after Rohit Sharma with 398 sixes.

Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has hit a total of 359 sixes in international cricket and he is in the fifth position.
