IPL 2020: 3 Released players who RCB should buy at the auction

The IPL 2020 Auction is scheduled to be held in Kolkata next month. Earlier all the teams announced the list of retained and released players. Royal Challengers Bangalore, which had a disappointing performance last season, have also released 12 players from their team.

3. Chris Morris:

Royal Challengers Bangalore released two foreign all-rounders in the form of Marcus Stoinis and Colin de Grandhom before the next season. Now RCB needs an all-rounder to balance the team and who can contribute both with bat and ball. In such a case, Chris Morris may prove to be a better option for the team.


Chris Morris has taken 69 wickets in 61 IPL matches at an economy rate of 7.98 and scored 517 runs with a brilliant strike rate of 157.62 with the bat. Even though the previous season was not so spectacular for Morris, his experience could still be useful for RCB.

2. Andrew Tye:

The biggest problem for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last few seasons has been their bowling. RCB released Dale Steyn, Tim Southee and Nathan Coulter-Nile this year and now they will be eyeing a good foreign fast bowler in the auction, who can bowl better in death.
