R Ashwin bowled left-handed during the practice session to prepare for the second Test match against Bangladesh. This practice session was conducted at night in floodlight at Indore. It was a good chance for both the teams for the day-night test match. During this practice, Ashwin bowled right-handed as well as left-handed while practising spin bowling and this video of him went viral.
Ashwin bowled the ball which turned square, fielding coach R Sridhar caught this ball who was keeping behind. This is not the first time that Ashwin has done this, he had done this before during some domestic tournaments also.
During the Indore Test, Ashwin also bowled leg-spin. During this, he also got a wicket with a ball. If seen, there are many variations in Ashwin's bowling. Carrom ball, leg-spin, off-spin etc.
The Indian team's first day-night Test match is to begin in Kolkata from 22 November. It will be interesting to see how the two teams play with the pink ball. Apart from some of the main players of the Indian team, the remaining players attended the night practice session in Indore.
