India has started their West Indies tour brilliantly and India has also won 2-0 in the ODI series after winning the T20 series by 3-0. After India's comfortable win in the shorter format, both the teams will now start their World Test Championship, whose first test match will be played from 22 August.

3. VVS Laxman:
VVS Laxman played his first Test in the West Indies on the 1996–97 tour. Interestingly, Laxman was fielded in that series as an opener and in 4 Tests he scored 172 runs with 2 half-centuries.On his next West Indies tour of India in 2001-02, Laxman scored 474 runs in 8 innings of 5 matches with 4 fifties and 1 century. On the 2006 tour, Laxman scored 257 runs in 7 innings with 1 century and 1 half-century.
He was in good form in the 2011 Test series and scored 243 runs in 3 matches with 3 half-centuries. Overall, Laxman scored 1146 runs in 27 innings in the West Indies, including 2 centuries and 10 half-centuries.
2. Sunil Gavaskar:
Sunil Gavaskar made his Test debut on the famous Windies tour of 1970–71. In 8 innings of that series, Gavaskar had scored 50+ in 7 innings and he scored 774 runs with 4 centuries and 3 half-centuries.On the 1975–76 tour, Gavaskar scored 390 runs in 7 innings with 2 centuries and 1 half-century. Overall, Gavaskar has scored 1404 runs in 24 innings in the West Indies which also includes seven centuries and four half-centuries.
1. Rahul Dravid:
There is no doubt that former Indian captain Rahul Dravid is one of the greatest players of Test cricket. Dravid is one of the few players to have scored at least one Test century against all 9 Test-playing nations.Like Laxman, Dravid was also a part of the Indian team during the 1996–97, 2002, 2006 and 2011 tours. On his first Test tour to the West Indies in 1996–97, Dravid scored 360 runs in seven innings and was the highest run-scorer for India and he scored 404 runs on the 2002 tour.
Dravid scored 496 runs in seven innings under his captaincy in the 2006 Tour. Overall, Dravid scored 1511 runs in 17 Tests played in the West Indies with 3 centuries and 11 half-centuries.
