Indian team will tour West Indies in August, BCCI's request was accepted

Windies Cricket Board has accepted the BCCI's request. In fact, India was about to tour Windies immediately after the World Cup.

Due to the busy schedule, the BCCI requested the West Indies to make some change in this series, which West Indies accepted. According to sources, the Indian team can now go to the West Indies tour in the first week of August.

Due to the changes in schedule, the Caribbean Premier League schedule has also changed. On the BCCI's request, the West Indies Cricket Board agreed to pursue the program of CPL. Now the league will be held from September 4. Earlier this league was to be held in August.

Cricket West Indies CEO Johnny Grave said, "At the end of this year, we are excited to host another successful tournament, we are happy to cooperate with CPL to get a place in our international calendar. So that it can be ensured that all the best Caribbean cricketers can take part in this league, to play a major role in the preparation of the T20 World Cup 2020.

Significantly, the Indian team will play two Tests, three one-day matches and three T20 matches in the Windies tour after the World Cup. The schedule of the series is likely to be announced in the board meeting which will be held on May 13.
