WC 2019: New Zealand announce squad for World Cup, includes a new face

New Zealand has become the first team to announce the 15-member squad for the upcoming World Cup. The New Zealand team will start its campaign against Sri Lanka on June 1. The Kiwi team will be led by Kane Williamson and a new face has been included in the team.

Tim Seifert, who performed well against India, but unfortunately he got injured in a domestic match, due to which Tom Blundell has been included in the team.
Wicket-keeper batsman Blundell has not yet made his ODI debut for New Zealand. He has played two Tests and three T20 matches for New Zealand.

The World Cup is the biggest tournament in cricket and it is amazing to choose the team first says New Zealand Selector. He further added, Congratulations to all players selected players in the team. Representing the team at the World Cup is an honour for each player."
