Indian team's 15-member squad has been announced for the ICC World Cup to be held in England from May 30. The team will be led by Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will be his deputy. Dhawan, KL Rahul and Kedar have been given the place as batsman and Rayudu has been dropped out.
Meanwhile, Dinesh Karthik has been chosen over Rishabh Pant as the second wicket-keeper in the team. As an all-rounder, the team has included Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja and Vijay Shankar.
The responsibility of the fast bowling department will be on the shoulder of Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami, while Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav will lead the spin attack.
India's first match will be against South Africa on June 5. After the round robin, the semi-finals will be played on July 9 and 11 and the final match will be played at Lord's on July 14.
