In the 38th match of VIVO IPL 2019 which was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders in Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on 21st April, Sunday.
In this match, the Host Hyderabad team was too good in all the departments for the struggling Kolkata team, have they won the match by 9 wickets and 30 balls to spare.
Batting first, Kolkata scored 159 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs, thanks to Chris Lynn's 51 off 47 balls, while for Hyderabad Khaleel Ahmed took 3 wickets for 33 runs and was adjudged 'Man of the match' for his game-changing spell.
In reply, Hyderabad stream rolled as they chased down the moderate target of 160 in just 15 overs. David Warner scored 67 off 38 and Jonny Bairstow remained unbeaten on 80* (43) along with Kane Williamson at 8*
