IPL 2019: KKR beats RCB by 5 wickets, Russell scores 13 balls 48 runs, 5 records created


In the 17th match of the Indian Premier League, which was played between Bangalore and Kolkata. In this match, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 wickets. Earlier, batting first, RCB scored 205/3 in 20 overs.
In response, the KKR achieved the huge target after losing 5 wickets in 19.1 overs thanks to the 48 runs of 13 balls knock by Andre Russell. For his unbelievable Innings, Russell was adjudged Man of the Match.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Innings:

Earlier, Kolkata captain Dinesh Karthik won the toss and decided to bowl. After inviting to bat first, Parthiv Patel and Kohli gave a tremendous start and added 64 runs for the first wicket. Parthiv Patel scored 25 runs off 24 balls.
After this Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers added 108 runs stand for the second wickets. Kohli scored 84 runs off 49 balls and AB de Villiers 63 off 31 balls. In the end, Marcus Stoinis made 28 runs off 13 balls to help his team cross 200.

Kolkata Knight Riders Innings:

Chasing the target, KKR had a decent start, Chris Lynn and Robin Uthappa shared a 65-run partnership for the second wicket. Uthappa scored 33 runs off 25 balls and Chris Lynn 43 runs off 31 balls.
In the end, Andre Russell played an unbelievable knock again & scored unbeaten 48 off just 13 balls. He scored 7 sixes in his innings and he scored 29 runs in the 19th over. In the last 3 overs, the KKR team needed 54 runs and Russell achieved an impossible target.
