In such case, former Indian batsmen VVS Laxman has also selected the Indian team squad for the world cup and also made some surprising selection in his team.

The legendary batsmen believe that MS Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik should be the two wicketkeepers in the team. And further said, Rishabh Pant could not do anything special in the limited overs, he scored 4, 40* 28, 3 and one run in his last five innings.
When it comes to experience, then Dinesh Karthik should be included in the team rather then Rishabh Pant. Let us tell you that, India's former captain Saurav Ganguly has also said the same.
As far as bowling is concerned, Laxman has picked 4 Front-line fast bowlers and 2 spinners. Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Bhuvaneswar will be the first priority. But, surprisingly, he also included the young left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed in the World Cup squad.
