IPL 2019: SRH beat Rajasthan by 5 wickets, Sanju Samson's century goes vain

In the 8th match of the IPL 2019 played in Hyderabad, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by 5 wickets to register their first win.

Rajasthan Royals scored 198/2, thanks to Sanju Samson's finest century, in response David Warner's smashed half-century and Vijay Shankar scored a quick fire 35 runs.

Earlier, Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Rajasthan had a poor start, Jos Buttler was dismissed for 5 in the fourth over. After that, Ajinkya Rahane and Sanju Samson added 119 runs for the second wicket.

Ajinkya Rahane scored 70 off 49 balls with four fours and three sixes, and Sanju Samson scored 102 in 55 balls. On behalf of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rashid Khan and Shahbaz Nadeem took one wicket each.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Innings:
