The fifth and final ODI match of the series between India and Australia is scheduled to be played in Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi on 13 March, Delhi. While the 5-match series is currently poised at 2-2 after 4 matches and the fifth match will be the series decider.
Earlier, India had won the first two matches of the series played in Hyderabad & Nagpur, but Australia made a historic comeback from behind and won the next two matches in Ranchi and Mohali and levelled the series.

The Indian team has played 12 tests in Kotla since 1987 and has won 10 tests out of 12, while 2 matches ended in a draw. If we talk about one day cricket, India has played a total of 19 ODIs and had successfully managed to win 12 games out of 19 and faced defeat in 6 and one tie in Kotla.
India played their last ODI match in Kotla against New Zealand in 2016 but unfortunately had to face the defeat by 6 runs. But, before this match, India had won their last 4 ODI matches in Kotla.
While India and Australia have played 4 ODIs in Kotla and out of these 4 matches India has won 3 and the last battle between the two teams in Kotla was played in 2009 in which Indian had chased down the target of 229 with the help of Yuvraj's fine half-century.
