IND vs NZ: Dhoni achieves yet another milestone in 3rd T20, becomes first Indian to achieve

MS Dhoni has registered his name in yet another milestone in the third T20 against New Zealand. Dhoni had played 299 T20 matches before the third T20 match. Indeed, with this match, he has become the first Indian cricketer to play 300 matches in this T20 format.

In the IPL, Dhoni has represented two teams- Chennai Super Kings and Rising Pune Supergiants. Dhoni has played 95 T20 International matches for Team India and remaining T20 matches are of IPL and domestic.

MS Dhoni has become the first Indian and 12th overall player to play 300 T20 games and joined the likes of Chris Gayle, Shoaib Malik and Dwayne Bravo who have played 300 matches. Kieron Pollard is at the top of the list with by 446 matches. In the T20 series playing against New Zealand, Dhoni has scored 59 runs in two innings. In which he remained unbeaten for 20 runs off 17 balls in 2nd T20 and helped India to level the series 1-1.
