IND vs AUS: India made 5 mistakes in 1st T20, else India could have won the exciting match

Team India had to face the defeat in the first match of the two T20 match series played in Vishakhapatnam against Australia by 3 wickets. With this win, the guests have taken an unbeatable lead of 1-0.

The Indian team made 5 major mistakes which caused the defeat or else we could have won the game.

1. Rohit Sharma flopped again:

The Indian team vice-captain Rohit Sharma failed to give a good start along with Rahul in this match and scored just 5 runs off 7 balls and lost his wicket quickly in the 3rd over.

2. Poor shot selection by Kohli and Krunal:

Indian captain Virat Kohli playing well and was looking for a big inning along with Rahul, but he lost his wicket due to bad shot selection off Adam Zampa's ball.

Virat lost his wicket in an attempt to hit six over long on, While Krunal Pandya was too early to pull the ball which was shot and lost his wicket.

3. No partnership with Dhoni:

On one side, where the wicket was falling, on the other hand, wicket-keeper batsman Dhoni was holding one end and no other batsman accompanied him but he alone took India over 120 and contributed 29 runs off 37 balls.

4. Didn't capitalise on 2 quick wickets:

The Indian team started with a bang while bowling. And took 2 big wickets for 5 runs inside 3 overs. Umesh ran-out to Stonis for 1 run & in the next over, Bumrah dismissed Finch for a golden duck.

But Maxwell and Short took the team from the crisis and added 84 run partnership for the 4th wicket and took the game away from India.

5. Umesh Yadav didn't defend 14 runs off the last over:


At one stage it seemed that Australia would win easily. But in the last two overs, the visitors needed 16 runs, in which Bumrah 2 wickets and gave just 2 runs in the 19th over.

After that, Umesh Yadav, who came to bowl the last over, failed to defend the 14 runs of his 6 balls.
