South Africa beats Pakistan by 3-0, Big change in test rankings, Pakistan losses one place

On the 4th day of the final test match between South Africa and Pakistan in Johannesburg, the host defeated Pakistan by 107 runs and whitewashed the visitors in the 3-match test series by 3-0. As South Africa won the first test by 6 wickets and 2nd test by 9 wickets.
Batting first, South Africa scored 262 runs in the first innings of the third Test and took a modest 77-run lead after dismissing Pakistan for 185 in their first innings. While the hosts were all out for 303 runs in their second innings and gave Pakistan a target of 381 runs.
In reply, The Pakistan team got reduced to 273 runs in 65.4 overs. Chasing the target, the team was in strong position after scoring 153 runs for 3 wickets, but after that, they lost the last seven wickets for just 120 runs.
For South Africa, Kagiso Rabada and Olivier bagged three wickets in the second Innings, Dale Steyn picked 2 wickets and Vernon Philander satisfied with one wicket. Quinton de Kock won the Man of the Match award in the match.

A Big change in the ICC test rankings:

Having won the series by 3-0, South Africa have leapfrog New Zealand and England to second place in the latest ICC Test Team Rankings. With this victory, South Africa got four points and now it has 110 points just behind India who has 116 points in first place.

Pakistan slides one place down to Sri Lanka:

At the same time, after losing the series, Pakistan has slipped down to one place and currently are in 7th place. Pakistan started the series with 92 points, but now it has 88 points and it has dropped three points from Sri Lanka.
