ICC Announces Women's ODI and T20 Team of the Year, 2018, 3 Indian players included

ICC has announced the Women's ODI and T20 Team of the Year on Monday, 31 December. 3 Indian women have made their way into the teams, Harmanpreet Kaur has also been selected as the captain of the T20 team. While Smriti Mandhana and Poonam Yadav have got the place in both T20 and ODI teams.

Smriti Mandhana also won the ICC ODI player of the year and ICC Cricketer of the year awards. Apart from this, spinner Poonam Yadav has also been included in the ODI Team of the Year.
The responsibility of Captain of the one-day team has been handed over to New Zealand captain Suzie Bates. Australia's wicket-keeper batsman Alyssa Healey was chosen as a wicketkeeper.

If we talk about the T20 team, 3 Indian players have got the place. Smriti Mandhana is included as an opener, while Poonam Yadav as a bowler. The special thing is that Harmanpreet Kaur has been selected Captain for the T20 team of the year.
